Book Intro

I Am Yoon Bong-Gu

- An After Story of Yoon Bong-Gu the Clone

“A real clone story—What if a human clone lives among us?”

One spring day just as Bong-Gu was getting used to his middle-school uniform, his secret was revealed. This was what he had been afraid of after he found out who he really was in 5th grade. Bong-Gu has no memory of the entire day of April 11th, when he was separated from his mom and elder brother and taken to a laboratory.

Bong-Gu returns from the laboratory after 9 months. Realizing that the government and the research team intend to make his existence secret, Bong-Gu’s mom reveals Bong-Gu’s identity through the media. It was her final move to appeal to the public, believing that people would see Bong-Gu as a human, not a mere clone. As described above, this story begins only after the entire world has learned who Bong-Gu really is. Through imagining what kind of chaotic situation we might go through if human clones really existed in our society, the author develops an intriguing, thrilling plot told in a cheerful, eloquent style.
