Overview

This picture book delivers a touching story of a tin bear who, through his demise, opens the door to a new world.

Book Intro

(Russian)

(English) The Tin Bear

Once development is finished, a city turns into a giant tin city. Nature has been completely destroyed, and animals are forced leave the city for survival. Humans, who can no longer live on Earth, take a train to space. But one tin bear determines to stay on Earth because acorns are sprouting on his body. He sacrifices himself and serves as a giant home for acorns. By pouring water over his body, he achieves the goal that humans have not been able to achieve, which is to complete one's life with death. This picture book depicts life returning to nature through death.
