(English) 1000 Key Korean Idioms and Proverbs
This book was designed to present Korean idioms and proverbs in the form of an expression dictionary for foreign learners who are learning Korean, so that they can use them in daily conversations. Proverbs and idioms are expressions that appear heavily in TOPIK questions, and they are highly useful in daily life, and about 1,000 idioms and proverbs selected according to frequency are divided into 13 major themes and sub-topics for learning. Vivid example sentences using each expression are presented in a conversational format. Also English translations and voice recordings are provided to enhance understanding.

Cuốn sách này được biên soạn nhằm mục đích cung cấp các thành ngữ và tục ngữ Hàn Quốc dưới dạng từ điển diễn đạt dành cho người nước ngoài có trình độ tiếng Hàn trung cấp và cao cấp để có thể sử dụng chúng trong giao tiếp hàng ngày. Trong cuốn sách này, khoảng 1.000 câu thành ngữ và tục ngữ được chọn lọc theo tần suất sử dụng và được chia thành 13 chủ đề lớn và các chủ đề nhỏ để người học có thể tìm hiểu. Bằng cách kiểm tra mức độ hiểu cách diễn đạt thông qua mục “Bài tập kiểm tra” và “Thành ngữ và tục ngữ trong đề thi TOPIK” ở phần Phụ lục, và bằng việc tìm hiểu cách các câu hỏi có thành ngữ và tục ngữ được xuất hiện trong đề đọc TOPIK, cuốn sách cũng được sử dụng để ôn luyện chuẩn bị cho kỳ thi TOPIK.

Min Jinyoung
(English) Min Jinyoung (F) has a PhD in Korean Language Education from the Yonsei University Graduate School, and an MA in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language from the Graduate School of Education, Yonsei University. She is currently a Korean lecturer at Yonsei University and Seoul National University of Science and Technology. Previously, she worked as a Korean lecturer at Kyung Hee University and Konkuk University Language Institute.
