Overview

A bedtime picture book about the psychological world and growth of children who are afraid to sleep by themselves.

Book Intro

(English) Wait for Tomorrow

Twinkles have begun to sleep by herself without her mom and dad. She lies in bed holding her doll friends after her mother promises they will go fly paper airplanes the next day. Unable to sleep, she tosses and turns in her bed for a long time. When the darkness approaches her window, her doll friends try to block the darkness, which Twinkles fears, but it is no use. The moment when Twinkles and her doll friends hide under the bed, the darkness swallows the room and instantly they find themselves transported to a forest full of thorny trees. Twinkles and her friends walk through the woods looking around and discover sweet pieces of candy, a pair of pink shoes, and a blue paper airplane flying away. They are all things that Twinkles is going to eat, wear and fly tomorrow. Twinkles soon overcome her fear and run after the blue paper airplane, thinking of tomorrow. Before she knows it, the dim dawn approaches. Twinkles, greeting the morning, get up with a bright face and asks her mother to go fly paper airplanes.
