Overview

Rather than aiming to give lessons to young readers, this story allows children to experience the joy of listening to a story through which they can think and dream bigger.

Book Intro

A suspicious old lady shows up at the neighborhood library. She is the Captain Harok of our village, wearing an eye patch, not a black one but a white one, and a contemporary Hanbok. But in truth, she is a "story grandmother" who comes to the library every Sunday and tells stories to kids. What happened to her eye? Does a man-eating octopus exist for real? The book is filled with interesting and mysterious stories of the old lady's adventures, and it'd be impossible to tell whether the stories are real or not.
