Today is the only one day of the year that the zoo is closed. “We’re going to the beach!” brag Coki and Cori to their friends. But the tired Dad Elephant only continues sleeping and snoring loudly. Srnnk, Pooh~ Srnnnk, Pooh~ Ah, but Dad’s snoring sounds weird. Srnnnk~Yeck, Pooh~ “Ah, ah oh my god!"" Cori, Coki, and Mom Elephant are obviously annoyed by the snoring and move to a sand dune on the beach. Tunk, Thunk, Thund!
“Wow! The sea!” Coki, Cori, and Mom ride the waves, play on the squid swings, and roll an octopus ball. But it is weird. It is not fun. They can't help thinking about Dad. Tired Coki, Cori, and Mom drift off to sleep. Pururung Pooh~Cororong Coh~ Pororong Poh~

Jang Youngbok
Jang Youngbok writes poems and picture books for children. Jang started her literary career through the annual spring literary contests held by Criticism of Korea Children’s Literature and the Busan Ilbo. Her picture books include Swallowtail and the Moon and Summer Vacation, and she also wrote the poetry collections for children, Mr. Gul, the Cat and Have You Ever Stepped on Poop?
Lee Haery
(English) Lee Hae-ry is a picture book author and illustrator. She studied visual design at Hongik University and the Graduate School of the same university. She wrote and illustrated On a Rainy Day and Run, and illustrated My House Full of Monsters, No One Knows Who I Am, Holes in Our Body, Summer Vacation, A Prickly Water Lily Leaf Said, and Guess Who?. Her works have been translated in many countries and gained praise internationally.
