Anh đã tốt nghiệp cử nhân tại trường Đại học Thể dục Hàn Quốc, sau đó tiếp tục nhận bằng thạc sĩ của khoa Thể dục – Xã hội tại trường đại học Yeonsei.  Trước đây, anh cũng là đại diện quốc gia thi giải Quyền anh hạng nhẹ và hiện nay anh đang giảng dạy các khóa huấn huyện tại nhiều trường đại học.  Bên cạnh đó, anh cũng tham gia các chương trình ti vi như  Olive TV, Story On, On Style “Get It Beauty”, v.v. với  vai trò là chuyên gia về vấn đề giảm cân,qua đó chia sẻ phương pháp giảm cân đúng cách và khỏe mạnh.
