Children of the Rune - Blooded by Jeon Minhee is the author's most famous work with a total of 1.6 million copies sold domestically in Korea. In addition, it is considered one of the most beloved fantasy novel in Asia, with over 3 million copies sold in total in Asia including exports to Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and China.
This is her first new work in 11 years and follows part 1, Children of the Rune - Winterer, and part 2, Children of the Rune - Demonic. This book is part 3 of the Children of the Rune series and it deals with a power called "Blooded." The central character, Charlotte, is a girl who struggles against the secrets of her missing brother. Blooded inherited the worldviews of Winterer and Demonic and sparks the reader’s curiosity from the first book with the fast pace of development and the new characters that appear.

Jeon Minhee
Jeon Minhee debuted with The Stone of Days in 1999. Books she has written include Tower of the Sun, Children of the Rune - Winterer, Children of the Rune - Demonic, The Fir and the Hawk, and The Heirs. All 28 of her works have been translated and published in Japan, China, Taiwan and Thailand. She has been a judge for the Chosun Ilbo Fantasy Literary Award and the NHN Game Literary Award.
Jeon may be the Asia’s most famous genre writer from Korea. All of her novels have been translated and exported to foreign countries and received great reviews. Children of The Rune was one of the most-read books by Japanese teenagers in 2006 and she held a meet-the-author event for the release of the collector’s edition in Thailand in 2007. The Children of the Rune series enjoyed a great popularity and, according to data from the Tokyo Korean Cultural Center, the best-selling Korean novel in Japan in 2013. Two series of her books have been made into online games and are available in the US, Russia, Europe, China and Japan.
