(English) Ryan's Math Adventure 1: Numbers Smaller than 20

Ryan's Math Adventure is an elementary mathematics learning cartoon based on an integrated global curriculum that includes those of Korea, China, the United States, and Japan. By linking stories and math concepts organically, children can read books and learn math principles in a natural and fun way. Through what we encounter in the world, they will learn how mathematics is related to real life. 

Ryan's Math Adventure is a children's fantasy story that inspires interest in math and motivates children to learn. Ryan, who doesn't like math, moves to the mass continent of fantasy world. In a world where mathematics have disappeared due to the magic of the villain Pessia, Ryan embarks on an adventure with Aris, Numi, Gili, Pavel and many others. Each character is in charge of a different branch of mathematics, such as figures and measurements. As Ryan's math ability grows, so too will that of the elementary students who reads this cartoon . In this way, children can naturally learn math concepts by reading books, but without feeling like they're studying. 

In Korea, a total of 11 printed books have been released including Beginning of the Journey, which is the prologue of the story, and episodes 1 to 10. Up to 20 e-books have been released. Since May 2018, it has also been sold on Amazon in the USA. A total of eight printed books are currently on sale, from the Prologue up to Volume 7. WeDu Communications is a global learning comics brand and participates in the Frankfurter Buchmesse, the Beijing International Book Fair and the NCTM Exhibition in the US every year. Also, in April 2019, WeDu Communications participated in the Bologna Children's Book Fair. 

Numbers Smaller than 20 teaches the concept of numbers through a fantasy story. Incorporating elementary school math into a story allows readers to learn math principles in a natural, fun way. The book also features a workbook to help with reviewing the concepts learned and comprehension questions to help with understanding.

한국에서는 이야기의 프롤로그 격인 여정의 시작, 그리고 1권부터 10권까지 총 11권의 인쇄책이, 전자책으로는 20권까지 출시되었습니다. 18년 5월부터는 미국 아마존에서도 판매를 시작하였고, 현재 프롤로그부터 7권까지 총 8권의 인쇄책이 판매되고 있습니다. 또 위두커뮤니케이션즈는 글로벌 학습 만화 브랜드답게 매해 프랑크푸르트 도서전, 베이징 국제 도서전, 미국 NCTM 전시회 등에 참여하고 있으며, 19년 4월에는 볼로냐 아동 도서전에 참여하는 등 한국이 만든 자랑스런 글로벌 수학 학습 만화로 발돋움하고 있습니다.
