Sam Kim is a chef who feels rewarded the most when he sees people eating his dish made with fresh ingredients raised on a farm. Kim has been serving meals in a food truck for children from low-income families. Kim also has been donating his talent through various activities including The Happy Cooking School, The Soul Food Concert, and The Eating Habits Improvement Campaign. Sam Kim, the head chef of Buonasera in Sinsa-dong and Osteria Sam Kim in Habjeong-dong, currently appears on a TV show called Please Take Care of My Refrigerator.
