(English) Pongpongi’s Heart
Today is Pongpongi’s first day exploring the world. With his mother’s full support, Pongpongi takes his first step into the world. As he explores, he gains more and more experience. Beyond the mere abstract ideas he formed from the words of his mother, Pongpongi now interacts and communicates with flowers, butterflies, birds, fish, rain, spiders, clouds and the moon. These experiences bring Pongpongi to the conclusion that "the world is really great!"
Whenever Pongpongi meets someone, he shares his heart with them. What does it mean to share his heart? Does it mean that he is mesmerized by the person he meets? Having fun with his friends, smelling at the flowers, dancing along to the fluttering of butterflies and singing along the beautiful chirping of birds - to Pongpongi, this is what it means "to share your heart."
As Pongpongi shares his heart with his new friends, he loses track of time. Now, the sun is starting to set, dyeing the sky red. He heads back to his house where his mother is waiting. Grateful to the moon for sheding light on his way back home, he shares the last piece of heart with it. Now, he has had a whole day without a single regret. This is because the heart is like a spring of water, eternally flowing.
After exploring the world, Pongpongi is no longer a baby in the protection of his mother’s embrace like he used to be. He has become a child who has taken his first step into a wider world. The experiences he gained from the world will help him to grow. This book is the perfect first picture book for children who are expanding their curiosity and learning new things about the world.(French) <Mon cœur se remplit>
