(English) Park Esther (F), the author of Return to the RED HOUSE, was interested in school. With her sensitive writing style, she subtly shows the innermost thoughts and anxiety about competition and discrimination that Korean private school students often experience. Park had a question: if all the smart, distinguished students were locked together somewhere isolated from the world, how would they deal with emotional scars? Perhaps Park was more curious about why there were almost no mystery thrillers about high school students suffering under the world's hardiest studying schedule. Return to the RED HOUSE became a milestone in Korean school mystery books.
