The Mind While Drawing
This picture essay contains the days recorded from the perspective of a painter. The author plainly describes the characteristics of plants and her thoughts about the relational boundaries between people. This book is the first work of essays by the author, who has cast warm eyes on our trivial yet unsordid lives that resemble plants that are living life to the fullest even if nobody notices.
The author left city life and moved to a small rural village to live in nature. This book illustrates, through the author’s warm gaze, the welcome kindness that she felt in her neighborhood along with scenes of spring, summer, autumn, and winter. She depicts the tranquility and comfort that nature brought her through the ever-changing landscape and changing views of stationary objects through her unique emotional sentences and clear painting style.
