I've Decided to Change My Mom
OTT Original Content Mommy Daddy Game
The global OTT company Chun Page announces the production of an original game, titled Mommy Daddy Game, which is set to be released in Korea together with the company's official foray into this market. The winner of the game will be given the chance to be adopted by Michael Chun, the founder of Chun Page. However, the two contestants with the lowest scores will be stripped of their relationships with their parents and be sent to live far away. What if you were given the chance to change your parents for a billionaire? What if you could legally cut ties with your own child? With these shocking slogans, Mommy Daddy Game takes Korea by storm.
My Mother's Ex-Boyfriend
Meanwhile, Michael Chun goes to see his former flame, Joo Eun. Mother to Joo Barum, Eun was formerly a star television news anchor and the youngest ever to headline a major news show. Now, however, she makes ends meet as a two-bit show host on a cable TV home shopping network. Michael asks Eun to be the host of his show Mommy Daddy Game. Eun used to be one of Korea's biggest stars but is now a hardworking, down-on-her-luck single mom. And yet, Michael believes she's the perfect fit. At the same time, Michael also suggests that she sign up her son, Barum, to compete on the show.
Will she choose to be the main host of a globally recognized TV program and expose her family affairs to the public? Or will she keep her old life? Eun is not sure what to do. But her son makes a bold announcement. "I want to compete."
Meeting of Old Enemies
While Mommy Daddy Game is on the air, Eun meets her old enemy, An Byung-sik. He was the one who stopped her from making her TV comeback after she had her son. He tries to bark orders to Eun and argues that Michael Chun did a shoddy job constructing the TV studio. He also suggests that the show has been rigged and that Michael has already chosen the winner.
"Isn't Barum his son?" Just then, an earthquake hits the studio and they are forced to cancel the shoot.
The outcome of this Unpredictable Survival Game?
Most of the contestants' parents don't want the game to end. What about the people who want the game to continue? Why is Michael Chun so obsessed with Joo Eun and her son? What is the conspiracy between the contestants and An Byung-sik? How will this family survival game end?
