This is Lee Byungryul's fifth book of poetry that shakes the boundaries of our minds with deep poems of the inexplicable urgency of life that stares into the abyss of sorrow. It consists of 60 poems written after Snowman Motel (2013), which garnered attention through clear, heated moments of awareness that brought about self-reflection and discovery of others while being entirely preoccupied with being alone.

Lee Byungryul
(Japanese) 1967年、忠清北道・堤川生まれ。ソウル芸術大学文芸創作科を卒業し、1995年『韓国日報』新春文芸に詩『いい人たち』、『あの日は』が入選し、デビュー。著書に、詩集『あなたはどこかに行こうとしてる』、『風の私生活』、『燦爛』、『雪だるま旅館』、『海はよくあります』など、旅行散文集『アトラクション』、『風が吹く、あなたがいい』、『私の隣にいる人』、散文集『ひとりがひとりへ』があり、第11回現代詩学作品賞、発見文学賞を受賞した。
