(English) The masses' insurrection and its Democracy in 1980
This book re-conceptualizes 5.18 as a popular uprising. Thousands of people flock to the street at an unexpected moment form a large mass, invent unimaginable actions, pour out miscellaneous voices and languages, and create a space-time that expresses extraordinary spontaneity.
The brightest point of this book is that it pays attention to the politics of anti-violence that the protest leaders and the militia desperately trying to maintain, even in the context of armed struggle, and illuminates the armed struggle of the militia in the setting of the issue of 'anti-violence' and the politics of citizenship.
