(English) What would you do?
Little children are quite unfamiliar with self-choosing and often follow what their parents decide on behalf of them. <What would You Do?> comprises 60 situations that they may confront in everyday life, asking the little readers what they would do in the specific setting. By doing such fun activities, little children will think about self-choosing and practice while parents can find out what their child’s character is like and how they can nurture their social skills in positive ways.

子ども自ら選択する面白さを教えてくれる絵本です。日常生活で出くわす選択の状況を60種類の質問形式にまとめました。何を食べて、どんな服を着るかなど些細な日常的なことから、自分の内面を知る選択まで興味深い質問と絵で成り立っています。子ども自ら様々な選択の主人公となり、絵を見て話ししたり、直接丸をつけたり、書いたり、描いて色を塗ることができます。楽しみながら選択の練習をしている間、自分についてもっと知ることができ、自ら選択することに自信を持てるようになります。

Kim Soohee
(English) Kim Soohee studied Korean Literature and Language at university and currently writes children’s books. Kim is the author of The Moon Is Gone!, The Forgiveness of Grandma, and Mom Knows Best!. Kim has written this book with the hope that children will be able to ward off cavities and smile with glistening pearly whites.
(japanese) 大学で国語国文学を勉強し、様々な子供の本を執筆しています。主な作品に『カナタおじさん』、『ふとっちょのヤムイ』、『おばあちゃんの許し』、『私がやります！』などがあります。
