(English) A letter from a baby bear
One day when rain was pouring, Baby Bear meets the forest-keeping grandfather and enters the world of the forest. How can so many animals and plants live in the forest? The tree grandmother in the forest tells Baby Bear the story of how the forest, the earth, the sky, and the sea came to be. And she says that humans can beautify or destroy nature. She warns the forest, the earth, the sky, and the sea, but says that humans must be able to embrace a love for life and the planet on their own. The tree grandmother asks Baby Bear to protect the forest. To protect the forest, Baby Bear writes a letter to the people. That letter is this book itself, <A Letter from Baby Bear>.

天真爛漫な子グマの目線で見つめる森の物語が描かれた絵本。降り注いでいた雨が上がったある日、子グマは森の番人のおじいさんに連れられて森の中の世界に出会う。
「こんなに多くの動物や植物がどうやって森で生きているんだろう？」
子グマには知りたいこと、不思議なことだらけだ。そんな子グマに森で出会った木のおばあさんは、森と大地と空と海が生まれた時の話をしてくれる。
そして森を守ってほしいというお願いとともに古い本をプレゼントしてくれるのだが…。
子グマは森の番人のおじいさんと、木のおばあさんのように森を守り抜けるだろうか？
暮らしのよりどころを守ろうと頑張る動物たちの物語が、環境の持つ意味を再確認させてくれる。

Một cuốn sách tranh kể về câu chuyện của khu rừng qua đôi mắt của một chú gấu con ngây thơ.
Một ngày tạnh ráo sau một cơn mưa lớn đến độ kỳ lạ, gấu con đi theo ông lão canh rừng vào gặp gỡ thế giới trong rừng.
"Làm thế nào mà lại có nhiều động vật và thực vật sống trong rừng thế này nhỉ?"
Có quá nhiều thứ khiến gấu con thấy tò mò và kỳ diệu.
Và rồi một bà lão cây mà gấu con gặp trong rừng đã kể cho chú nghe về câu chuyện rừng, đất, trời và biển được tạo nên. Bà cũng tặng cho chú một cuốn sách cũ như một món quà với lời nhờ cậy hãy bảo vệ khu rừng.
Liệu chú gấu con có thể bảo vệ rừng như ông lão canh rừng và bà lão cây không?
Câu chuyện về các loài động vật cố gắng bảo vệ môi trường sống của chúng sẽ khiến chúng ta phải suy ngẫm về ý nghĩa của môi trường.

Moon Jong-Hun
(English) Moon Jong-hun is an illustrator and author who tells stories about important values through pictures. His books include Animals’ First Olympics, We Are Father and Daughter, What is a Human?, I can see the Future!, Playground, A Letter from a Baby Bear, Mr. Deer and Mr. Hummingbird, and Kiwi Wants to Fly. His books have been translated into French, Chinese, Taiwanese, Russian, and Spanish.
(French) Il a étudié le design visuel à la fac et a étudié l'illustation en master. Voici ses livres : "Petite semence", "Petite poission", "Nous sommes père et fille" "C'est quoi l'homme?" et "le premier Olympic des animaux".
