Affamés parce qu'ils ne trouvent pas de nourriture, 'Raie jaune' et ses amis 'Poisson-lion' et 'Requin baleine' parcourent la mer pour trouver de la nourriture. Ils rencontrent des bébés tortues de mer piégés dans du plastique et sont témoins de la mer polluée. L'auteur reconnaît la gravité de la destruction écologique causée par les déchets plastiques en regardant la mer polluée et montre à travers le livre comment penser l'avenir que la pollution de l'environnement apportera. Dans ce livre, l'auteur espérait sincèrement que le jour viendrait où l'océan retrouverait son innocence et que la vie marine ne souffrirait pas, et que la mer bleue ne serait plus malade.

The Hungry Yellow Stingray

As news of marine creatures dying from plastic waste and ocean pollution becomes increasingly frequent, this book tells the story of marine life suffering from such ocean garbage. Various characters, including the hungry Yellow Stingray and his friend Lionfish as well as the Whale Shark and a baby sea turtle trapped in plastic, vividly convey the polluted state of the ocean. The author becomes aware of the seriousness of ecological destruction caused by plastic waste as she observes the polluted ocean, and through this book, she shows her concern for the future brought about by environmental pollution. She earnestly hopes for the day when the ocean regains its purity and marine creatures no longer suffer, and wishes for a future where the blue sea no longer hurts.

해양 쓰레기 때문에 고통받는 해양 생명에 관한 이야기. 

먹이를 찾지 못해 배고픈 ‘노랑가오리’와 그의 친구 ‘쏠배감펭’, ‘고래상어’는 먹이를 찾기 위해 바다 곳곳을 돌아다닌다. 그들은 비닐에 갇혀 버린 아기 바다거북 등을 만나며 오염된 바닷속의 모습을 목격하게 된다. 작가는 오염된 바다를 보며 플라스틱 쓰레기로 인한 생태파괴의 심각성을 인지하고, 환경오염이 가져올 미래에 대해 고민하는 모습을 책을 통해 보여준다. 해양이 다시 순수를 되찾고 해양 생물이 고통을 받지 않을 그날이 오기를, 더불어 푸른 바다가 더 이상 아프지 않기를 간절히 바랐다.
