(English) Let’s Put on Rubber Boots!

The rain poured, creating puddles here and there. You need rainboots at times like this! The monkey grandpa at the shoe store waits for folks to come and buy rainboots. The shoe store is open to anyone. Rainboots of various colors are lined on the shelves of the shoe store. What sort of guests will come to buy rainboots? This is a number illustration book of imagining what kind of animal they are by the number of legs. It’s a warmhearted number illustration book with the fun of finding a buddy who offered one of the rainboots to the earthworm guest who visited after the rainboots had all been sold out. A second work of author Seung-beom Lee who made kids laugh big time with the material the size of animals and poop in his previous work "Roll Roll". 

 

(Spanish/español) El día que me puse las botas

Es un día de mucha lluvia. Charcos por todas partes. Un día como este, necesitas botas. El abuelo mono zapatero espera a los niños que van a comprar botas. La zapatería está abierta para todos. Botas de diversos colores se encuentran alineadas en los estantes de la zapatería. ¿Quiénes vendrán a comprarlas?. Este es un libro de dibujos y números que lleva al lector a imaginar qué tipo de animales podrían ser observando el número de patas. Asimismo, es un cuento cariñoso y divertido de buscar al amigo que le da un par de botas a una lombriz que llega a la zapatería luego de que se agotan todas las botas. Consiste en la segunda obra del autor Lee Seungbeom, quien mediante su previo ejemplar, hace estallar de risas a los niños utilizando temas como el tamaño y caca de los animales. 

 

About the Author

Lee Seungbum



(English) Lee Seungbum studied graphic design and illustrated several companies and magazines. When my child was young, he learned the fun of telling stories in bed and making stories, and he was elected to the 5th Sangsangmanbal Book Exhibition with his first picture book "Roll, Roll" and became a picture book writer. There is "Wearing Boots Day" as a book written and drawn, and "Teacher Who Became a Cat Man" as a book drawn.
