Of all the paintings of the Joseon dynasty, folk paintings, called paintings of the common people, are a representative art form visually expressing through symbols the universal desires from which our ancestors originated. They use many objects from our lives and nature as their subjects, but even outside the real, the imaginary too, legends and folktales, were drawn. This art healing book using folk paintings offers you the time to enjoy talking with family or friends while you freely color in the folk paintings so familiar to us. We hope this process can be one of healing, discovering and expressing the meaning of that little happiness each of us desires.
