Overview

A book for babies based on a Korean myth about a girl named Oneul. It carries the author’s heartwarming wish to deliver the powerful energy of the mythical character to babies and mothers.

Book Intro

Oneul is a Korean myth about a girl named Oneul who was born in a field. She sets off to find her mother. The author’s inspiration for this story was the realization that babies, in reality, are not that different from this mythical character.

In the myth, Oneul has to cross mountains and oceans. Likewise, babies experience “big events” every single day. Trying to balance their bodies, falling down, standing back up, and spending time away from their mothers. These are all overwhelming events for babies, but by confronting them, our babies grow and mature. Because every baby has power as amazing as that of the girl in this myth, the author suggests: “How about we trust their potential and give them our full support?”
