Dad has suddenly turned into a crocodile! But it’s not as bad as I thought! 

Yoonchan and Yoonyi’s dad started nagging a lot after he took parental leave to take care of them all day long. Before, he was so busy that he hardly had time to talk to his children and caught on his sleep on weekends. Every time he yawned with his mouth wide open, his children thought he looked like a crocodile.

One day, their mother goes on a business trip abroad. Tired of hearing their father’s loud yelling, the two siblings cuddle their crocodile-shaped soft toy and make a wish: “I wish Dad would stop nagging us.” The next moment, Dad yawns loudly and then starts turning into a crocodile from head to toe. Instead of nagging, ‘Crocodile Dad’ buys them everything they ask for and plays with them. The children have a great time with Crocodile Dad, but after a while, they miss their real dad. Plus, they become worried about Crocodile Dad getting bigger and bigger. It’s time to put everything back in place. Will their dad go back to the way he was before? Will he go back to saying “No!” and “Don’t do that!” all the time?

*갑자기 악어로 변해 버린 아빠! 그런데…… 생각보다 나쁘지 않은걸?!**

윤찬이와 윤이의 아빠가 잔소리 병에 걸린 건 육아 휴직을 내고 하루 종일 아이들을 돌보기 시작하면서부터다. 그 전에는 너무 바빠 아이들과 대화할 시간도 거의 없었고, 주말엔 소파에 길게 누워 잠만 잤다. 아빠가 큰 입을 벌려 하품할 때마다 아이들은 ‘악어 같다’고 생각하곤 했다. 회사 일이 부쩍 바빠진 엄마가 해외 출장을 떠난 날, 오늘도 쩌렁쩌렁 울리는 아빠의 호통이 지긋지긋해진 남매는 말랑말랑한 악어 인형을 붙들고 하소연하듯 소원을 빈다. “아빠가 잔소리 좀 안 했으면 좋겠어.”

그러자 갑자기, 아빠가 기지개를 켜면서 크게 하품을 하고, 아빠의 온몸이 점점 악어로 변해 버린다. 하지만 원래 아빠였다면 “안 돼!” 한마디로 끝냈을 아빠지만, 악어 아빠는 잔소리도 안 하고, 사 달라는 것도 다 사 주고, 재미있게 놀아 준다. 

악어 아빠와 원 없이 놀고 난 아이들은 슬슬 아빠가 원래 모습으로 돌아오길 바라게 된다. 잔소리쟁이지만 그래도 ‘우리 아빠’가 보고 싶기도 하고, 점점 몸집이 커지는 악어 아빠가 걱정스럽기도 하다. 이제 모든 것이 제자리로 돌아올 차례. 아빠는 다시 “안 돼!”, “하지 마!”를 입에 달고 사는 잔소리쟁이로 돌아가게 될까?
