When author Bae Myounghoon released his first book Tower in 2009, he was highly praised for showing new potential in Korea’s science fiction literature. The acclaimed rookie has now become a veteran with 15 years of experience, during which time he has developed his career robustly, proving the potential that had been seen in him, and more than living up to expectations.

2009년 <타워>를 첫 책으로 출간하며 한국 SF문학의 새로운 가능성을 보여주었다는 평을 들었던 젊은 작가 배명훈은 어느덧 데뷔 15년 차에 접어든 중견 작가로 거듭났다. 그동안 그는 왕성한 활동을 이어감으로써 자신이 펼쳐놓은 가능성을 증명해 보이며 자신을 향한 기대에 화답했다.
