Overview

The bright and cheerful mood of the story about vehicles and songs, which children love, will make the book appealing to readers.

Book Intro

Yellow Car, who lives near the city, looks forward to singing at the annual Tra-la-la Festival. It’s not going to be easy, though, because Yellow Car can sing only the “la” note. Then one day, while passing through an alley, Yellow Car meets Blue Car. As it turns out, Blue Car can sing only the “sol” note. Back home, Yellow Car recalls the encounter that day with Blue Car and goes to see Blue Car the following day to suggest that they sing together. Then the two cars drive around the city, meeting Dump Truck who sings the “do” note, Forklift who sings “re,” Tanker Truck who sings “fa,” Cleaning Truck who sings “mi,” and Ambulance who sings “ti-do.” The seven vehicles gather together and start practicing for the Tra-la-la Festival. The day of the festival dawns at last, and the vehicles get on stage to flaunt their singing skills. They win the Popularity Award and go home happy.
