It is a fantasy fairytale of a child who experiences the loss of his father, embraces the separation, and overcoming it. Every night, a child is afraid of falling sleep. So, he goes into a closet and sleeps. One day, the closet magically comes to life and talks to him. By riding the closet, he sets out for adventures in the fantasyland of ‘Kuru’. Soon, he discovers the surprising fact that his dad who is poorly in bed has lack time. Now the child is on an adventure to Kuru seeking ‘time’ for his dear dad. Will he bring back the ‘time’ safely to his dad?

Jung Mijin



(English) Mijin Jung is working as a writer for movie. Jung is a writer now, but her childhood dream was to be a painter. She was thinking about how to achieve her childhood dream and she decided to make a picture book.

 

(Russian) Это совместная работа писателя Чон Ми Джин и художницы Ким Сора, которых полюбили за книгу <Знаешь, мистер Кто>. Интуитивно понятный сюжет, чувственные картины и режиссура создали ясную и прекрасную работу.

 

(Japanese) シナリオ作家として活動中。 物書きをしているが、子供の頃の夢は画家だった。 子供の頃の夢と現在の夢を一緒に叶える方法を考えた末、絵本を作るようになった。

 

 

An Nyeong-dal



(English) An Yeong-dal studied visual design at a school located in the countryside with flowing water and scenic landscape, as well as an illustration at a school in a seaside town.

He has written and illustrated several picture books such as Watermelon Pool, Grandmother’s Summer Vacation, and Because.... 

His recent works include Carrot Kindergarten and Trashcan Fairy. He has published 25 books in total. 

 

(Japanese) 水が流れ、景色の良い山の学校で視覚デザインを学び、今はイラストを描いています。 『おやすみ、ココ』は穏やかな絵で温かい情緒を表現しようとしました。絵と文を書いた本は『スイカのプール』、『こんにちは』、『メリー』などがあります。
