Pressed flower illustrated book for children struggling through COVID-19.
The illustrations in this book were all expressed with pressed flowers. The author completed this illustrated book using the colors and shapes of plants to tell the
story. Every time this book is opened, natural colors and curves can be seen in their original state. This is quite different from paintings made with paint, and it offers
us warm comfort. There are texts and text boxes written with pressed flowers, and these texts that are also drawings, and the text boxes that seem like both words
and cartoons make it fun for children to turn the pages. Another way to enjoy the book is to look for what grasses, flowers and leaves were used to draw the pictures
with your child.

Todas los dibujos del libro están expresadas en flores prensadas. La escritora finaliza la obra que contiene una historia vívidamente de colores y
formas de las plantas. Cada vez que uno pasa las hojas del libro, los colores y las curvas de la naturaleza aparecen tal como son. Nos brinda una
templada comodidad en un sentido diferente al de colorear con pinturas. Asimismo se presentan letras y globos de diálogo escritos con flores
prensadas, que son tanto textos como dibujos, y los globos de diálogo que parecen letras e historietas, hacen que los niños disfruten al avanzar el
libro. Además es una manera entretenida de interpretar el texto con sus hijos explorando qué tipo de pastos, flores y hojas está constituida la imagen.

Lee Ji-yeon
(French) L’artiste des fleurs pressées. Elle travaille avec plaisir sur la presse de fleurs. Elle dirige le groupe de recherche sur l'artisanat des plantes de l’association coréenne de la presse de fleurs (affiliée au Service forestier coréen, KFS). Elle est aussi membre du jury du concours mondial d'art de la presse-fleurs . Elle a ouvert ses deux expositions individuelles et participé à plusieurs expositions de groupe, et elle fait beaucoup d'activités en tant qu'artisan de la presse-fleur.
