People are divided into two parts since elementary school period, those who like history and those who do not. Actually, it's not that we "dislike history" but it's "feel difficult for history". Then, after entering junior high school, kids study world history and Korea history at the same time. From that time, history becomes out of their mind due to such huge historical years and difficult words.
Why is it like that? It is because kids always memorize thousands of years of world history and Korea history in fragments. Then they cannot see through the whole historacal flow and it becomes mishmash history studying.
Therefore! 『Dictionary of eastern and western historical events for elementary school students』contains eastern and western historical events which elementary school students must know and might feel interested. It is divided into 8 periods. We arranged the great events that marked a milestone in history in chronological order so that we could naturally follow the flow. Also, for students who have difficulty reading long passage, we summarized as briefly as possible, and contained many pictures. Also, we cared for formation so that everyone could see the connected world history and Korean history at one glance when looking for this dictionary to find curious historical events.
When you get to know fun and meaningful events in the East and West, studying history will no longer be boring, and it will be a pleasant history trip to develop the power of common sense and knowledge.
