(English) Louis, The cat walking
The cat, Louis, stretches out and gets up and rolls around in the room, but can't stand boredom and goes on patrol through the garden to the neighbor's house. The places Louis stopped by include Matisse's studio, the curious Louis' favorite Holmes' room, a toy shop full of fun toys, a mural street with Keith Haring's paintings, and an antique shop full of rare items such as Gogh's masterpieces. In the background of each scene, famous works such as Matisse, Monet, Gogh, Klee and Klimt are hidden.
This book shows works of art that are dissolved in everyday life and conveys the message 'Art is not far from our life, our life is art'.(Japanese) 絵にちょっと詳しい猫ルイ
猫のLouisが近所に散歩に行きます。Louisが寄った場所はマティスの作業部屋、ホームズの部屋、楽しいおもちゃでいっぱいのおもちゃ屋、キース・ヘリングの絵がある壁画通り、ゴッホの名画など珍しいものでいっぱいの古美術店など。それぞれの場面の背景にはマティス、モネ、ゴッホ、クレー、クリムトなどの有名な作品が隠されています。この本は読者に楽しい想像の種を分け与え、日常に溶け込んでいる芸術作品を通じて「芸術は私たちの暮らしの近くにあり、私たちの暮らしこそが芸術だ」というメッセージを伝えています。 ※5月には後続作品として「キャンプにちょっと詳しい猫ルイ」が出版予定です。

Chú mèo Louis đi dạo trong khu phố. Louis ghé qua xưởng vẽ của Matisse, phòng của Holmes, một cửa hàng đồ chơi đầy những món đồ chơi thú vị, một con phố bích họa với những bức tranh của Keith Haring, và một cửa hàng đồ cổ đầy những món đồ quý hiếm như các kiệt tác của Van Gogh. Trong mỗi cảnh đều có thể thấy bóng dáng của những tác phẩm nổi tiếng của Matisse, Monet, Van Gogh, Klee và Klimt. Cuốn truyện tranh mở ra cho bạn đọc những điều tưởng tượng thú vị, cho thấy các phẩm nghệ thuật hoà quyện trong đời sống hằng ngày, truyền tải thông điệp “nghệ thuật không ở xa cuộc sống, cuộc sống chính là nghệ thuật”. *Phần tiếp theo là cuốn “Louis, chú mèo biết cắm trại”.

(English) The artist graduated from Hongik University Department of Painting and majored in Children's Literature and Illustration at Goldsmith University in London. Louis first met in New York. I was so curious about how much time Louis, the cat who lives with artists, spends alone. The picture book that was born is Louis, The cat walking.
(Russian) Окончил факультет живописи Университета Хонгик, учился по специальности “Детская литература и иллюстрации” в Университете Голдсмитс в Лондоне. Автор размышлял “К чему ведут наши старания?” и отправился в путешествие по Африке. Это послужило основой для книжки с картинками “Фермер в пустыне”. “Фермер в пустыне” - вторая книга с картинками после работы “Кот Луи, который разбирается в картинах”.
(Japanese) 弘益大学絵画科を卒業し、ロンドンゴールドスミス大学で児童文学科イラストレーションを専攻しました。ルイはニューヨークで初めて会いました。芸術家たちと一緒に暮らす猫のルイが一人で過ごす時間がとても気になりました。『絵がちょっとわかる猫ルイ』はそうして始まりました。
(Vietnamese) Sau khi tốt nghiệp Khoa Hội họa tại Đại học Hongik, tác giả theo học chuyên ngành Văn học và Minh họa cho Trẻ em tại Đại học Goldsmiths, London. Tác giả gặp Louis lần đầu ở New York. Vì rất tò mò về khoảng thời gian chú mèo Louis, người sống cùng các nghệ sĩ, ở một mình nên 《Louis, chú mèo biết vẽ》 đã bắt đầu như vậy.
(French) J'ai terminé mes étudies en Peintres à l'université de Hong-Ik et ai étudié littérature pour enfant et illustration à l'université Goldsmiths à London. J'ai rencontré Louie, mon chat, pour la première fois à Newyork. J'étais très curieuse de savoir le temps qu'il passe seul avec les artistes. J'ai ainsi commencé à fabriquer "Louis le chat aime la peinture".
