Winner of the 28th Manhae Literary Award of 2013.
A historical novel about the Bodo League massacre during the Korean War. Based on the perception of Korea's contemporary history, this novel shows how people lose their voice and have their memories forcibly blocked.
As Primo Levi wrote about his experiences at the Auschwitz concentration camp, using the voices of survivors, writer Jo Gapsang has reconstructed into a novel the reality of a massacre that is being forgotten.
