Our Show Must Go On
K-pop is drawing attention from people around the world. It’s easy to see foreign fans imitating the performances of K-pop idols at home and abroad. K-pop idols now play an active role in numerous global awards ceremonies, including the U.S. Billboard Awards. However, there aren’t as many opportunities to listen to what these idols think about as they prepare for their performances or how they feel onstage. This book has the answers to those questions.
The interviewees include Lee Chaeyeon of Iz*One, Chungha, Chanhee of SF9, Moonbin of Astro, Hoshi of Seventeen, YooA of Oh my girl, Leo of VIXX and J-Hope of BTS. This book captures the perspiration, effort, and heart that the idols show in their performances on stage with the voices of a total of eight K-pop artists. Through these interviews this book promotes an understanding of the current K-pop idols and offers realistic advice with consolation and sympathy to all those who are getting set to “take the stage” in their own lives.
