"Red-bean rice cake that helps you to be super-focused and Yong rice cake that helps you to be extraordinarily courageous?"
Jang-gun was born with an empty luck bag. The Birth Grandmother who governs the birth of a child usually gives one piece of good luck to each baby. Unfortunately, when Jang-gun was born, the luck tree did not bear any fruit and so Jang-gun was not given any good luck; no luck of cleverness, no digestive luck or athletic talents, one of which everyone is born with. One day, Jang-gun, who suffers from low self-esteem and a negative mindset because nothing goes his way, finds a weird-looking rice-cake shop. Feeling strangely attracted to it, Jang-gun goes into the shop. However, as usual for Jang-gun, the shelves are empty except one piece of rice cake in a basket. Without expecting much, Jang-gun picks up the "make-you-happy" azalea rice cake. The price of the rice cake for Jang-gun to pay is a smile. Can Jang-gun, who regards himself as an unlucky kid, manage to remember how to smile a happy smile? This book wittily and fantastically shows how Jang-gun acknowledges himself as he is, and how he recovers his self-esteem thanks to funny pieces of rice cake such as the "Courage Bursting Yong rice cake" and "Focus Boosting Red-bean rice cake."
