The main character Brownie decides to leave the desolate city and move to a rural village where his friend Steve is. Brownie meets Steve and faces a warm rural landscape to look at the starry sky he has been longing to see. Through Brownie's story, the author comforts those who are anxious and tired and shows them how the characters strive towards a life they really want.

都市では朝から晩まで戦争が繰り返されます。眠たい目をこすって出勤し、回し車のような仕事を繰り返し、夜遅くに家路につきます。高々とそびえる建物や濁った空気に囲まれて心休まる暇もありません。この本の主人公「ブラウニー」はそんな日常から抜け出そうと心に決め、田舎の村へと行くことにします。そこには友達の「スティーブ」が住んでいるからです。スティーブに手紙を送ってから、ブラウニーは簡単に荷物をまとめて家を出ます。星や月や笑いでいっぱいの村へと向かう、とても特別な旅が始まります。はたしてブラウニーはそこで自分の望む暮らしに出会えるでしょうか？

Lee Roun
(English) He was born in Seoul in 1988. He graduated from the Kkokdu Illustrate Institute. To Steve is the author's first book.
(Japanese) 世の中にとって有益なことを考え想像し、様々な絵で表現するのが好きです。創作絵本として『スティーブに』を出版し、『津々浦々世界地理旅行』のイラストを描きました。その他にも、いくつかの絵本を独立出版をしており、今後も「有益な」作家になるように努力してまいります。
