La Toile blanche de Grimmie est un livre illustré qui raconte l’histoire imaginaire de Grimmie, une jeune fille qui aime peindre. 

Grimmie dessine des flocons de neige sur sa fenêtre et entre dans une forêt imaginaire. Elle dessine une échelle pour aider un pivert coincé dans un arbre, une porte pour un ours piégé dans une grotte à cause d’une tempête de neige, et plusieurs autres objets pour aider ses amis les animaux. En jouant avec le pivert, l’ours, la grenouille et le lapin, Grimmie utilise tous ses crayons de couleur, mais elle garde de beaux souvenirs. Ce livre offre aux enfants la joie de l’imagination, permettant ainsi de créer leurs propres histoires imaginaires, à l’instar de Grimmie.

Это воображаемая маленькой девочкой история. Героиня, которая так любит рисовать, попадает в мир своей собственной картины. Она мужественно преодолевает все возникшие перед ней трудности. Автор показывает, как можно изобразить то, что так просто выражается словами, но не может быть выражено кистью. А также если ребёнку удастся выразить свои мысли в письме и более того в рисунке, то его умение общаться с окружающим миром выйдет на более высокий уровень.

 『Grimmie's White Canvas』 is a picture book about the imaginary story of the main character girl "Grimmie" who likes to paint. After drawing snowflakes on her window she enters into a forest that's in her imagination. In the forest she draws a ladder to help out a woodpecker stuck in a tree, a door for a bear who finds itself trapped in a cave due to heavy snow, and many other objects for other animal friends. While playing together with a woodpecker, bear, frog and rabbit she uses up all of her crayons but she is left with beautiful memories. Through this book, children will be able to realize the joy of imagination and create their own imaginary stories like Grimmie.

『그리미의 하얀 캔버스』는 그림 그리기를 좋아하는 주인공 소녀 ‘그리미’의 상상 속 이야기를 담은 그림책이다. 창문에 눈꽃을 그린 후 그리미는 상상 속에 있는 숲으로 들어간다. 숲에서 그리미는 나무에 갇힌 딱따구리를 돕기 위해 사다리를 그리고, 폭설로 인해 동굴에 갇힌 곰을 위해 문을 그리고, 다른 동물 친구들을 위해 많은 다른 물건들을 그린다. 딱따구리, 곰, 개구리, 토끼와 함께 놀면서 그리미는 크레파스를 다 썼지만 아름다운 추억으로 남게 된다. 이 책을 통해 아이들은 상상의 즐거움을 깨닫고, 그리미처럼 자신 만의 상상 속 이야기를 만들 수 있을 것이다
