(English) The Second Universe
This story is set in two different worlds that exist in a parallel universe. Woo-joo is a sixteen-year-old girl living with her father after her mother died. She travels to a different world by chance where her mother is still alive. Radical changes of circumstance and ensuing events provide readers not only the chance to look back on their own life but also give insight into the coincidences of life and the importance of choice.

Seon Jaeun
(English) The author was born in 1981, in the city of Seoul. Seon went on to win the first Sallim Literary Award for YA fiction for her work The Night the Panda Cried. Her publications for young readers include The Contractor, Nana on the Red Roof, Alice World, The 2nd Universe, Mom's Recipe, and The Young Girl Ghost Detective. She has also written books for children, including Manito: the Dangerous Game, Game King, Pretty Face for Sale,The Bathroom Ear, Memories of That Day, The Killer Next Door, and The Calendar of Time.
