(English) An old seal grandmother (Granny diver)
One moonlit night, a lonely fisherman fell in love with a seal lady dancing on the beach. The seal lady is a daughter of the Dragon King of the sea.
That lady took off her seal skin every night and danced. The fisherman stole her seal skin and lived with her. The seal lady missed the sea so much.
But he never gave her seal skin back. He wanted a baby.
One day, the fisherman went fishing far from home and never came back. Only an empty boat came back. The seal lady found her seal skin that she always dreamed of, hidden in the boat.
Wearing it again, the sea she longed for began to fluttering in her heart!

Un album écrit et illustré par une artiste coréenne. L’auteure Mi-Kyung OH crée une nouvelle histoire en liant l’histoire de Haenyo(des femmes plongeuses en apnée originaires de la province du Jeju-do, inscrit au patrimoine culturel immatériel de l'UNESCO en 2016) avec celle d’otarie dans la mythologie celtique irlandaise. L’auteure Illustre haenyeo, les femmes de Jeju, de manière réaliste et symbolique. Puis, elle dépeint la mer de Jeju qui change très diversement de manière convaincante avec des images colorées.

作家が書き、描いた海女さんの話。一生を済州島の海で生きてきた海女さんの逞しさを美しく綴った創作絵本だ。文は作家のオ・ミギョン（Oh Migyeong）が韓国の海女さんとアイスランドの説話（オットセイが毛皮を脱いで人間になる話）を融合させ、新たな象徴性を作り上げた。画家のイ・ミョンエ（Lee Myoungae）は済州島の海の多彩な姿はもちろん、長い年月を深い水の中で過ごした海女さんの暮らしを美しく描いた。この本を通じて、この地の海女さんが荒波や強風と戦い、息をも我慢しながら耐えることのできる原動力が他でもない「愛」であることを教えてくれる。

(French) Son livre L’arbre de Fantôme des chaussures a été sélectionné dans . Elle a reçu le ‘prix littérature jeunesse de l'année’ pour famille d'adolescents en 2012.
(Japanese) 1998年、『子どもの園』に中編童話『靴幽霊木』が選ばれ、2012年『思春期家族』が今年の『児童青少年文学賞』を受けました。幼い頃、田舎の自然で育った経験が童話の基礎となりました。
Lee Myeongae
(Englsih) Lee Myung-Ae majored in Korean painting, and currently works as an illustrator. Lee was selected as illustrator of the year at Bologna Children’s Book Fair twice, and received the Silver prize at Nami Concours, and the Golden Plate award and Golden Apple award at BIB. She wrote and illustrated the picture books Plastic Island, 10 Seconds, Tomorrow Will Be a Sunny Day, Vacation, and Flower, and illustrated They Are All Flowers, The Marvelous Home Shopping, and Am I Pretty?
(French) Mentionnée en tant qu'illustrateur de l'année de Bologne, elle a remporté le prix d'argent du concours Nami et la plaque d'or BIB. Elle a créé les livres d’image île en plastique, Dix seconde, Il fera beau demain, et illustré plusieurs livres tels que Mamie Otarie, Téléshopping-gadget, Grand-père crottes de nez.
(Japanese) 『明日は晴れます』で2021年BIB金のりんご賞、2017年ナミコンクール銀賞を受賞し、『プラスチック島』で2015年ナミコンクール銀賞とBIB金牌賞(BIB PLAQUE)を受賞しました。そのほかにも『オットセイジジババ』、『鼻くそおじいちゃん』、『招待された子どもたち』、『みんな花だ』などいくつかの子供の本に絵を描きました。この絵本『花』は絵本作家の集い『バカンス』の『伝来プロジェクト』から始まりました。
(Vietnamese) Được bình chọn là Tác giả vẽ tranh minh hoạ của năm trong giải thưởng ở Bologna vào năm 2015 và 2017; nhận giải Bạc cuộc thi Nami (2015, 2017), nhận thưởng Tấm bảng vàng tại BIB(2015) và Giải thưởng quả táo vàng BIB (2021) .2017), nhận thưởng Tấm bảng vàng tại BIB(2015) và Giải thưởng quả táo vàng BIB (2021) .Sách đã sáng tác và vẽ minh hoạ gồm 《Đảo nhựa》, 《10 giây》, 《Kỳ nghỉ》, và 《Hoa》.
