“I can not live without you. Can’t you also live without me?"
People and cats that I met in a redeveloping area in Busan
And the warm hours among the cat and the old lady(grandmother).
Sometimes a picture moves a person's mind more strongly than a thousand stories. A photo that captures the eyes from the moment you see it and stirs your mind. For some people, this is the picture of Hyung-joon. When you look at his picture, the cat feels like the best subject that makes any landscape special. In a winter he took picture of a family of the wild cats as he were fascinated. Then now he is an artist of cats and loved beacause of the photos on the cats. His first cat photo essay "Cat and Old Lady" has been published.
The book contains photos of his trademark cat-and-old lady communion as well as numerous wild cats who spent more than five years wandering around every corner of Busan from near their homes to redeveloping areas. On top of that, Busan grandmother's tough but warm dialect and the author's warm eyes are combined to resonate deeply with readers. In particular, the friendship between the yellow cat Zzin and its grandmother, who are also models of the cover, will come with great emotion.
