Rra Taejoo
Rra Taejoo made his literary debut in 1971, winning the annual spring literary contest run by The Seoul Shinmun. After publishing his first collection of poems In the Bamboo Grove in 1973, Rra has published 35 collections of poems including Drawing in Makdong Town, The Postcard from Mountain Village, The Country of Poets and During the Bicycle Trip.The essays written by Rra include The Country Man, The Country Teacher, Play with Flowers, A Journey to Find a Poem, Love Is Always Clumsy and As Everyday is the First Day of the World.Collections of children's stories written by Rra include Loner(illustrated by Yoon Moonyoung). Collections of illustrated poems written by Rra include Even Though the Love Belongs to Me, You Are Too, and I Saw You. Tae Joo Rra has also written various other collections of photographic poems, Buddhistic poems, and illustrated poems.
