Book Intro

The Vitamin Korean Series is an integrative textbook that helps foreigners to understand Korean and Korean culture and communicate effectively with useful information and knowledge.The book helps Korean learners to develop 4 skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing through various activities and learn language functions necessary in both real-life and professional areas. By doing activities in 4 skills, learners can build reading comprehension, circumstantial awareness and problem-solving strategies. And the wrap-up part at the end of 5 chapters offers TOPIC sample questions, helping learners to prepare for the TOPIC according to their language proficiency.
Vitamin Korean 3 is an intermediate level textbook for learners that have completed basic Korean learning. The books is designed to help learners to learn Korean expressions in the situational contexts that they encounter in studying in Korea or daily lives. Consequently, the book help them to improve their communication skills to a such a level that a lack of language skills will no longer hinder their lives in Korea.
The book helps learners to develop basic communication skills through activities in 4 skills, listening, reading, speaking, and writing. To improve the learners' reading comprehension, reading activities include texts with different themes and genres. Writing activities help learners express their thoughts using grammar and vocabulary learned from the book. Listening and speaking activities help students improve their circumstantial awareness and problem solving strategies. 
The book is designed for learners to develop language proficiency systematically and ion a step-by-step basis as language situations and themes are classified to suit learners' language level and target grammar and vocabulary are presented step by step. 
All speaking and writing activities are designed for learners to apply target grammar and vocabulary to real-life tasks, improving task completion skills and context-based communicative skills. Furthermore, TOPIC questions for each question type and workbook adjusted to learner's level and theme, help learners to prepare for the TOPIK more effectively.

(English)  ho Jungsoon (F) is Professor of Liberal Arts at Silla University and is leading Teaching Korean Team in the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). She is former Deputy Director of the Silla University Korean Language Institute and former director of the Multi-Cultural Institute.

 

(French) L'auteur représentatif, Cho Jung-soon, est professeur au collège d'enseignement de l'université Shilla et à la SKP. Il dirige l'équipe éducative du cours de formation des spécialistes de la culture coréenne de la KOICA et est co-auteur de Culture coréenne, Culture coréenne avec une histoire de Ro, Coréen 1-6, Pratique de la langue coréenne, et Niveau élevé. Chaque volume de la série Coréen vitaminé a été rédigé par des instructeurs du centre d'enseignement de la langue coréenne de l'université de Shilla.

Jun Sohyeon



Jun Sohyeon (F) is Professor at Dalian Minzu University in China. She has Master's and Ph.D degrees in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language from Pusan National University.

Cha Soonja



Cha Soonja (F) is Lecturer at the Silla University Korean Language Institute. She also lectures in International Studies at Silla University. Cha is currently Invited Assistant Professor in Literature and Creative Writing, Critics Studies at Silla University. She has Ph.D in Korean Language and Literature from Keimyung University. 

 

 

Kim Jiyoon



Kim Jiyoon (F) is Lecturer at the Silla University Korean Language Institute. She completed a Master's program in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language at Pusan National University.
