On the evening prior to the day before Sanyi's first day at his new school, Sani-yi finds "the toy store that cures dreams." Upon entering the store, Mr. Mongsil, a man with a fluffy purple beard and rainbow-colored t-shirts, greets him. Suddenly, Mr. Mongsil takes an X-ray of Sanyi, telling him he wants to diagnose his dream and then gives him an "elephant soldier" as a cure. However, he was not the only one to visit this store. His friend Min-ho also visited the store. When they try to visit the store together, they find it to have disappeared. Thanks to "the toy store that cures dreams," five different boys with different dreams begin to build their friendships, discover their dreams, and nurture them. This book gives children the opportunity to think about the true meaning of dreams and contemplate them.
