- Book Intro
-
In this book, readers can meet many kids. There is one kid who is known as a troublemaker due to often getting into fights with bullies, one who makes up his own story and writes an essay about this non-existent book because he does not own a single book to read, and one who suffers from the prejudice that teachers have toward divorced parents. All of these kids are vulnerable children that really do exist in school and society. However, these kids are not filled with complaints nor destructive behaviour; rather, they try to understand and embrace the faults of adults who cannot understand them, which makes the adults feel ashamed. This story will bring a lot of thought to adults who feel that children should grow up without knowing the dark and gloomy parts of the world. This book tells readers that children are sharper and more thoughtful than adults think, and we cannot hide the dark and gloomy parts of our society from children. Those parts are seen and captured through the pure and innocent eyes of children in this story.
