Overview

This book help children realize the importance of listening and the right way to communicate.

Book Intro

Jaehee is the main character in The Big Mouth. Jaehee's friends make fun of her because of her stutter. One day, her teacher organizes a mountain climbing event so that all the classmates can get along with each other. While climbing the mountain, Jaehee falls from the cliff. When she wakes up, she is in a village called Only My Words, where weird-looking people only talk but do not listen. Jae-hee becomes a wise girl in the village and plays a role where she soothes legendary cave big-mouths who get angry. Through this story, this book conveys the importance of listening while asking readers to once again consider what is the best way to communicate with one another.
