Overview

This book explores a true meaning of happiness through the story of Ga-ram who stay strong even with her exceptional background.

Book Intro

Happy Island delivers a meaning of happiness throughout several stories. In this book, we see a kind dad who works as a delivery man while taking care of his elderly mother and young son, a mom who wants to stay strong in front of her son even though she is nearing her end, a child who brings two dollars to buy some noodles, a man who gives away his noodles for free without a word, and a grandmother who has hidden her illness for fear of burdening her son. Although life treats them unkindly, these people do not cry and stay strong in the face of adversity. Through these stories, this book delivers a message of hope.
