Book Intro

(English) Even as the Wind Rustled among the Leaves

An elegant blend of an innocent young poet’s delicate sentences and watercolor calligraphy that arouses sensitivity, this collection of poems has the power to soothe us. When we feel like the world is tough, people are too hard on us, or we’re worn out, this book will console us. Writer Hakyoun Young-hee Lee has scrupulously translated the poems of Dong-ju Yoon for a long time, and based on this, has created her own splendid watercolor calligraphy works.

Also, English meticulously edited by a native for literary aspects is enough to boast an English translation written with more resemblance to the poetic diction of Dong-ju Yoon.
