You Yeongmahn
(English) You Yeongmahn completed his undergraduate and master's degree in Education Engineering at Hanyang University and received a PhD in Education Engineering from Florida State University in the U.S. You is a knowledge ecologist who uncovers the principles of knowledge creation in the knowledge ecosystem. He believes that wildness without intelligence is barbaric and reason without wildness is boring, and argues that uninteresting meaning is unbearably dull while meaningless fun is unbearably light. You is currently a professor at Hanyang University. He is also a prolific writer and an inspiring lecturer who has published and translated more than 80 books.
Some of his major works include Trees Don’t Blame, To Study is To Make a Sledgehammer, and The Revelation of Reading. You’s major translations are Just Do What You Were Doing, The Iceberg Is Melting, and Ping!.
