Jang Kangmyung
Jang Kangmyung graduated from the College of Engineering at Yonsei University. He worked for a construction company before working as a journalist at Dong-a Ilbo for 11 years. He received the Journalist of Monthly Award from Journalists Association of Korea, the Kwanhun Press Award, the grand prize of the City Korean Journalists Award, Dong-a Ilbo’s Scoop Award and the National Election Commission’s letter of appreciation. He made his literary debut with his novel Bleaching winning the Hankyoreh Literary Award in 2011. His novel No Enthusiasm, Evaroad won the Soorim Literary Award, and his another novel The Last Day of the Month, or the Way You Remember the World received the Munhakdongne Writer Award. The books written by Jang include novels Homo Dominance, Because I Don’t Like Korea, and Our Wish Is War, a serial novel Lumiere People and a report Election, Pass, Class.
