<The night of living ancestors>

Ancestors who became boomers(꼰대) went back alive!

It’s set on the apocalypse world where dead ancestors resurrected because some uncertain accident. Yo hanna who divorced her husband because of her mother in law plays an important role as ‘a director of banning traditional memorial service for dead ancestors’. They are the ones who put up a mask and go any places where a daughter in law suffers from holding the service, and break in upon the service. One day when they were actively working while crying out “The last war of humanity is to get rid of the memorial service for ancestors!” Yo hanna’s mother in law came back from her grave.

Everywhere, ancestors returned as zombies. All the zombies strode down the city. “Why there is soup inside the soup”, An mother in law shouted angrily  while dripping the soup from the hole on the chin. A grandfather gave a scolding about a virgin shows one’s bare legs out in the middle of the day. “Stay after the broadcasting”, a senior announcer zombie said. The only one way to emasculate zombies that couldn’t be killed with knife is to make them hear ‘the worse boomer like’ scoldings. Then zombies can’t bear it and halts its life activity.

A year passed while those resurrected boomers were fighting one another, and the survivors found out the cause of the zombie was due to the quantum entanglement. Also there won’t be anymore new zombies if they emit electric wave from 12 thousand communication satellites. On the other hand, Yo hanna wondered whether it’s easier to recall the really ancient boomer who could emasculate already resurrected zombies. So the headquarter of banning traditional memorial service for dead ancestors initiated a plan to recall an ancestor from the past passing through Chosen and Goryeo period and further back to where the language doesn’t exist anymore… Would Yo hanna be able to survive from her mother in law who resurrected? 

<살아있는 조상님들의 밤>

꼰대가 된 조상님들이 살아 돌아왔다!

원인불명의 사고로 조상님들이 되살아나게 된 아포칼립스 세상. 시어머니 때문에 남편과 이혼한 요한나는 ‘제사 없애기 운동본부장’으로 활약하고 있다. 제사로 고통받는 며느리가 있는 곳이라면 어디든 출동하여 복면을 뒤집어쓰고 제사상을 훼방 놓는 그들. “인류 최후의 전쟁은 제사 없애기!”라는 구호 아래 활약하던 어느 날, 요한나의 시어머니가 무덤에서 돌아온다.

방방곡곡 좀비가 되어 돌아온 조상님들. 구멍난 턱으로 국물을 흘리며 “왜 국에 국물이 있느냐”고 역정을 내는 시어머니와, 처자가 백주 대낮에 맨다리를 드러내놓고 다닌다며 잔소리하는 할아버지와, “너 방송 끝나고 남아라”라고 하는 선배 아나운서의 좀비가 도시를 활보한다. 칼로 찔러도 죽지 않는 좀비를 무력화시키는 방법은 단 하나. ‘더 꼰대스러운’ 잔소리를 들으면 좀비는 참지 못하고 생명 활동을 정지한다.

되살아난 꼰대들이 서로 치고받고 싸우며 1년이 흐르고, 생존자들은 좀비 사태의 원인이 양자얽힘 현상이라는 것을 밝혀낸다. 1만 2천 대의 통신 위성에서 전파를 발산하면 더 이상 새로운 좀비가 나타나지 않으리라는 것도. 그러나 한나는 반대로, 이미 발생한 좀비를 무력화할 더 옛날의 꼰대를 불러내면 좀비의 소탕이 수월해지지 않을까 떠올린다. 그리하여 제사 없애기 운동본부는 과거를 소환하는 작전을 시작하고, 조선 시대와 고려 시대를 지나 점점 더 과거로, 언어가 존재하지 않는 시대의 조상님까지 소환하게 되는데…… 과연 한나는 되살아난 시어머니로부터 살아남을 수 있을까?

<다층구조로 감싸인 입체적 거래의 위험성에 대하여>

사이버펑크적 배경 속에서 인간의 욕망과 시스템을 연결짓는 흥미로운 사고실험.

이 세상에서 욕망하는 것은 무엇이라도 현실이 될 수 있다. 입밖으로 내는 순간 욕망이 현실로 구현되기에, 욕망이 모이는 ‘중심지’는 혼돈과 향락으로 들끓는다. 주인공 ‘진’은 꿈틀거리며 변화하는 빌딩을 지나 도시로 진입한다.
