Le personnage principal, Yu-jin, qui a fondé une startup est court depuis plusieurs années avec impatience. Elle décide d'ouvrir son café-livre à Soyang-ri, qu'elle a visité et termine sa vie à Séoul sans aucun regret. 'Soyang-ri Books Kitchen' est un endroit où elle recommande des livres parfaits pour chacun de ses invités, où ses invités guérissent en mangeant de délicieux plats qui vont bien avec les livres et où même leurs cœurs cachés sont réconfortés et encouragés.

À Soyang-ri Books Kitchen, neuf invités avec leurs propres histoires, dont un avocat qui a soudainement reçu un diagnostic de cancer alors qu'il était sur la voie du succès et un homme qui a fermé la porte de son cœur après avoir été frustré par son travail de rêve, trahi par un ami et a même subi la mort de sa mère. Ils guérissent leurs cœurs blessés à leur manière et acquièrent la force d'aller de l'avant.
