Thirteen Months of Eun-Woo contains scenes from Eun-Woo’s daily life from January to the thirteenth month. The author reveals trivial but dazzling moments in Eun-Woo’s young life--for example, running an errand, going fishing with his family, and feeling nature around his house.

The author depicts the innocent, pure actions of Eun-Woo and tells us how important it is to give a child the love of family. About the Author

Jang Se-Ryun



(English) Jang Se-Ryun was born in Gamgol, Sangju in North Gyeongsang Province, where she was able to develop her emotions surrounded by the countryside landscape. She started writing as a youngster with the help of a teacher. She became a children’s story writer when she received the Changju Literature Award in 1988. Jang was also awarded the Children’s Literature Award in 1998. Her works include A Child Who Followed the Sound of a Bell, A Gift from A Snowman, A Daddy’s Whale, I Thought I Am the Best, More Beautiful than Flowers, Stories of Four Families, and Believe in You in Yourself. She also received the Ulsan Pen Literature Award, Ulsan Literature Award, and Ulsan Children’s Literature Award. She also served as the chair of the Ulsan Children’s Literature Society. Currently she teaches writing at libraries and schools, and is the director of the Korea Children’s Literary Association.

 

(Chinese) 生于庆尚北道尚州,从小感性丰富,跟随老师学习写作。1988年荣获“沧州文学奖”,1998年所创作童话入选“儿童文化文学奖”,正式成为童话作家。曾荣获“蔚山文学奖”、“蔚山儿童文学奖”等奖项,历任“蔚山儿童文学会”会长。目前,在图书馆和学校教授写作,同时担任“韩国儿童文学人协会”理事一职。

 

(Vietnamese) Năm 1988, tác giả được trao Giải thưởng văn học Changju và Giải thưởng văn học thiếu nhi năm 1998 và trở thành một nhà văn truyện cổ tích. Tác giả đã viết một cuốn sách truyện tranh lịch sử và tiểu luận tiếng Hàn, và sáng tác một số bài hát thiếu nhi. Tác giả đã nhận được các giải thưởng văn học Ulsan Pen, giải thưởng văn học Ulsan và giải thưởng văn học trẻ em Ulsan và từng là chủ tịch Hiệp hội Văn học Thiếu nhi Ulsan. iện đang làm sách tranh với trẻ em tại các thư viện và trường học, dạy viết, và là giám đốc của Hiệp hội Nhà văn Thiếu nhi Hàn Quốc.

Park Dasom



(English) Park Da-Som majored in visual design at Sungkyunkwan University. She started illustrating children’s books after she became fascinated by children’s stories. She has illustrated A Magic Stick, I Envy Chaewook, A Seed That Went to the Library, Chasers of Giant Octopus, On-Dal Who Kicked a Pot, and A Note Fight. She has also illustrated a collection of poems, Great People in Korean History and a collection of essays titled A Human Becomes a Human by a Human.

 

(Chinese) 在成均馆大学完成了视觉设计专业的学习。机缘巧合地陷入童话的魅力,并开始绘制插图。曾为童话书《魔法棍子》、“去了图书馆的种子”等作画,还为童诗集《令韩国光芒四射的人们》及随笔《人通过人而成为人》创作过插图。
