A dolmen in Bugeun-ri, Ganghwa, which stood for several thousands of years, starts talking about the Bronze Age and a boy named Seok-geom to a loner boy who comes on a spring picnic. Seok-geom, a smart, talented boy, suggests adding a grip to undecorated pottery and forecasts the weather by observing stars. As he becomes a patriarch of his tribe, he plays the brilliant role of the leader while blocking the invasion of the enemy by making a fence, developing agriculture methods, and expanding the scale of the village. Such episodes of the story allow readers to take a close look at the lifestyle of the Bronze Age. In addition, the process of making dolmens, the reason why the ancient people made dolmens, and the usage of the dolmens are well melted into the story. In particular, the process of making a dolmen by driving a stake into the rock to split the rock and transferring a large rock helps solve curiosity about dolmens and realize the wisdom of the people in the ancient time.
The author hopes that this book could allow readers to easily get to know the history of the Bronze age and learn the wisdom of the ancestors who made dolmens.
